The city maintains codes letters for all residential lots and duplexes once they are released for permitting.

The letters include results for any inspections and/or foundation investigations.

• Inspections typically are required for lots that are adjacent to floodplains, have stormwater conveyance systems and/or were part of land removed from the floodplain.
• Foundation investigations typically are required if more than three feet of fill was added to the lot or if the lot previously had a pond on it.

Additionally, records are kept for all plot plan requirements, engineered or non-engineered. Engineered plot plans are required if the codes letter specifies an inspection.
