The city advertises for bids online and in the official city newspaper for all purchases of supplies, equipment and services that exceed $10,000, and for all public improvement projects that exceed $50,000.

The public is invited to bid openings. They generally are held at 2 p.m. in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 8500 Santa Fe Drive.
