Hours of Operation & Fees

The Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 1 to Oct. 31. During the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day), the Farmstead is open until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.

• Daily activities - pony rides, mining, the Fishing Pond, the one-room country schoolhouse and the Indian Encampment - are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Wagon rides are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., weekdays; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekends
• The one-room country schoolhouse and the Indian Encampment are typically closed during history tours, Monday through Thursday, in the morning.

Fees

• Admission:  Monday through Thursday, free; Friday through Sunday, $2 per person, 1 and under free. Friends of the Farmstead members free.
• Combo Pack:  $10 -  Includes mining, one wagon ride, one pony ride, one bottle of milk for the baby goats and fishing (individual tickets are also available)
• Animal Feed:  $.25 (no outside feed allowed)

Food & Snacks

Outside food is not allowed (excludes water bottles, children's snacks and birthday party packages). Concession food and snacks are available at several facilities throughout the Farmstead.

Weather Cancellations

Only the Farmstead supervisor can authorize the cancellation of a reservation or event due to inclement weather.

Sign up to be notified if an event is cancelled due to inclement weather.  (It's free and can be cancelled at any time.)
