In Overland Park, art is not a destination; it is a part of our everyday life.
From free concerts to iconic art installations, the arts in Overland Park is where our residents work and play - parks, city facilities, entertainment centers and along our streets and thoroughfares.
Art & Sculptures
Overland Park embraces art. You can see examples of the city's art collections around every corner, from the permanent collections in the city's convention and community centers to sculptures in city parks and the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.
The city has a Public Art Master Plan that guides when, where and what type of art will be installed across the city. Efforts are made by the city's arts coordinator and the Friends of the Overland Park Arts to ensure equity among wards.
Music
Our free, public musical performances are for audiences of all ages. We have children's concerts, seasonal performances by the OP Civic Band and Overland Park Orchestra.
