Art at the Center is a unique not-for-profit gallery space that offers local, regional and national artists, both professional and amateur, an opportunity to showcase their work in the heart of Overland Park. All art is for sale, unless otherwise noted. Gallery commission and sales taxes apply.

Permanent Art Collection Location
The city also has a permanent art collection at the Convention Center.
2012 Exhibitions
Juried, invitational, student and subject-specific shows are featured in a series of year round displays.
The current exhibit is 2012 Juried Exhibition. This exhibit will run through June 4.
Featuring the works of area artists selected and evaluated for awards by Internationally lauded artist/sculptor Kwan Wu. Art at the Center is located in the Tomahawk Ridge Community Center.
Juror's Lecture: Thursday, April 5, 7:30 p.m.
Opening Reception: Friday, April 6, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Program and Awards at 6 p.m.
Sculpture Garden (Arboretum)
The current exhibit is Arboretum Sculpture Exhibition 2012. This exhibit will run through September 30.
This program, a partnership between the City of Overland Park and the world-renowned Kansas City Art Institute, allows students to experience the reality of a public art commission. Their work is then created and installed in the Arboretum adjacent to the City's permanent collection.
