Adult Painting Classes

Watercolor painting class

Master painter Jan Andrews will teach painters how to use translucent watercolors.

  • Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Tomahawk Ridge Community Center, 119th and Lowell.

  • Bring*: Lunch, basic watercolor paint kit and some art paper

These classes are for beginner and intermediate level. One-on-one attention provided.

Supplies are a basic 10-color kit (child variety is fine), small brushes and some watercolor painting paper or board.


Fundamentals of Oil and Acrylic Painting

This six-week class is for beginner and intermediate level painters that is taught by master painter Jean Cook each Tuesday at the Tomahawk Ridge or Matt Ross community centers.

Youth Painting

Youth painting classes typically are offered in the summer only.
