Flowers, trees and roads
February 1, 2012
With no snow, Overland Park city crews are focusing more on springtime work.
Public Works crews are sealing cracks in roadways to extend the life of streets. This work is usually done in the spring through fall. However, with temperatures above freezing, it was time to adjust schedules.
Various flowers, such as daffodils, are coming up in city flower beds.
Parks and Forestry crews are working on trees, even planting some.
Enjoy the warm weather. Go play a round of golf.
