Scrap Metals Dealer's Registration

Effective January 1, 2012, a Scrap Metals Dealer's Registration, approved by the City Council, is required to buy scrap metals within the city limits. O.P.M.C. 5.53.

There are three different applications, depending on applicant status:

  1. Individual/Sole Proprietor
  2. Corporation
  3. Partnership, Firm, or Association

Fees:

  • 10-year period:  $400
  • Renewals:  $ 50

Fee and the completed application should be dropped off at the City Clerk's Office or mailed to:
